Each stage develops a new level of access, understanding and depth.
Stage 1
Years 1–3
Begin with Arabic, Qur’an, Tajweed, Fiqh, Islamic beliefs and the conduct of a student of knowledge.
Outcome: Build a strong foundation in Arabic to begin understanding the Qur’an beyond translation, improve recitation through Tajweed, and learn the essentials of belief and worship.
Stage 2
Years 4–6
Language strengthens interpretation. Hadith adds depth. Fiqh becomes connected to evidence, legal principles and scholarly method.
Outcome: Strengthen Arabic to engage more directly with the Qur’an and Hadith, understand how Islamic rulings connect to evidence and scholarly principles, and begin seeing the Islamic sciences as one coherent body of knowledge.
Stage 3
Year 7
Progress into classical texts, advanced Arabic, Tafsir, Hadith, advanced Fiqh and scholarly reasoning.
Outcome: Use advanced Arabic to engage with classical Islamic texts, examine Qur’anic interpretation, Hadith and Fiqh with greater depth, understand how scholars evaluate evidence, and communicate Islamic knowledge with care and responsibility.

After completing Years 1–6 through the Part-Time ʿĀlimiyyah programme, students who wish to continue into the Advanced Pathway must transition to full-time study.
This rigorous stage is intended for students seeking deeper expertise in advanced tafsīr and Hadith study, with the aim of embodying the Prophetic inheritance and preparing for scholarly and community leadership.
Students may complete this stage through Al-Ansaar’s Full-Time ʿĀlimiyyah programme or through an established Islamic institute offering an appropriate full-time programme.
Weekly rhythm
Part-time in schedule. Serious in purpose.
Friday evenings and weekend mornings provide a consistent rhythm for pursuing structured Islamic learning alongside the rest of life.

Yes. Upon successful completion, students receive the Shahadah ʿAlamiyyah, recognized worldwide, together with ijāzāt and asānīd.
