Youth Summer Islamic School (Boys/Girls)

Join our Summer Islamic School for Youth wherein we work our way through various aspects of Islam and topics relative to the age of the student!

Students will also enjoy physical activities at the nearby Prairie Winds Park as well as other fun events that we have planned throughout our time together In’shaa’Allah! 

Please register for the appropriate block. Ages 10+ have the option to attend online.

Block 1 (Ages 6 – 9)

Students will learn some of the Names of Allah تعالى, the concept of life after death, explore stories of multiple prophets, learn etiquettes associated with using the bathroom, eating, respecting others, as well as practical demonstrations of the salah. There will also be discussion regarding games, television, music and the internet.  

Block 2 (Ages 10 – 12)

Students will learn some of the Names of Allah تعالى, characteristics and duties of the Prophets, episodes from the Prophetic sirah, descriptions of Jannah/Jahannum, etiquettes associated with using the bathroom/cleanliness, the method of wudu/ghusl, virtues of the salah and more. There will also be discussion regarding negative societal influences on the Muslim psyche.  

Block 3 (Ages 13 – 14)

Students will learn about the purpose of our creation, obedience to Allah تعالى, the concept tawhid/shirk, halal/haram consumption, explore stories of multiple Prophets, particular episodes from the Prophetic sirah, rulings associated with wudu/ghusl/fasting/salah etc. There will also be discussion regarding negative societal influences on the Muslim psyche.  

Block 4 (Ages 15+)

Students will learn about the concept tawhid/shirk, detailed stories of the Prophets, lives of the Sahabah, rulings related to purification/salah, what it means to be a Muslim in the West, the journey of the soul, and more. There will also be discussions regarding responsible technology/social media use, aspects of growing up physically and mentally (the teacher(s) will sensitively approach this topic in a respectable manner befitting Islamic ethics), noble character, the Afterlife, and more in’shaa’Allah!
