Halloween From a Muslim Perspective

A children’s program to gain a deeper understanding about Halloween from a Muslim perspective.

Sunday, October 30th

Session 1: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Session 2: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Ages 4-8

Usually when we hear the word “pumpkin” we picture a pumpkin carved with a scary face sitting on window sills at Halloween, but did you know that pumpkin was the Prophet’s (PBUH) favorite food?

Also, after Prophet Yunis AS is released from the big fish, Allah provides him Yaqteen, pumpkin, to heal and nourish his body? SubhanAllah!

This story time will teach children the importance of why we don’t trick or treat or dress up during Halloween and the Islamic perspective.

The children will watch a short video, listen to a story and make a craft based on the story of Prophet Yunis AS.

Note: kids must be dropped off and picked up on time.

Free admission, but registration required.

We hope to see you soon!
